In 2014, the battle for the Donetsk airport became synonymous with Ukrainian resistance. Even though the airport was lost, Ukrainian soldiers fought bravely until the last moment. Today, that same area is experiecing some of the most intense fighting between Ukrainian soldiers and Russian invaders again. The infamous Wagner PMC is also there. We went to meet the brave Ukrainian marines holding the Ukrainians positions, despite being outnumbered and outgunned.
