The Qassam Brigades broadcast footage obtained by Al Jazeera documenting an ambush carried out by its fighters against an Israeli force on Al-Awda Street east of Beit Hanoun. The Qassam Brigades named the ambush "Breaking the Sword," which resulted in the death of an Israeli soldier and the injury of others. The footage shows the moment a Storm military jeep was attacked at point-blank range, causing the vehicle and its occupants to overturn.
