A free Europe today cannot be imagined without a free Ukraine

Вільну Європу сьогодні вже не уявити без вільної України. Сказав це під час звернення до учасників засідання Європейської ради. Я дякую вам за те, що ми спільно підготували здобуття Україною статусу кандидата на вступ до Євросоюзу. За те, що ми спільно готуємо позитивну оцінку нашої трансформації на шляху до Євросоюзу. Дякую за те, що відкриття вже цього року переговорів щодо членства для України в Європейському Союзі стане ще однією сильною опорою нашої з вами спільної безпеки. Разом із відповідним лідерством на рівні держав-членів ця безпекова взаємодія з Україною створила історичний приклад для будь-якого агресора. Приклад того, чому не варто починати агресію проти європейців. Саме тому російська агресія повинна неминуче зазнати поразки.
